Tyler Ellis is an attorney at JJC Law who focuses her practice on litigation of complex claims, including personal injury, property damage, construction, and other areas of commercial litigation. Tyler was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and grew up on the Westbank. After graduating from St. Mary’s Dominican High School, she attended Louisiana State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In 2022, Tyler received her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center. During her tenure, she received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Torts, Legal Writing, and Constitutional Law. In addition, she completed several internships, including one with the Honorable Rachael Johnson.  After graduation, Tyler completed a judicial clerkship under Judge Richard Perque at the Orleans Parish Civil District Court. During her time at CDC, Tyler participated in a great deal of notable hearings, bench trials, and jury trials and developed a robust understanding of the judicial process and the inner workings of the trial court.  

Tyler joined JJC Law in August 2023 and has quickly exhibited her talents as an enthusiastic litigator and valued member of the local bar. Tyler is a common participant and active member in the bar associations of all New Orleans courts, both state and federal, as well as local, state and national bar associations. Outside of the office, Tyler has a passion for community enrichment and advancement, participating in numerous non-profits that benefit her local community, schools, and individuals in need of socio-economic encouragement, support and upflifting.
